A Message from Our Directors

When we started Coastal Path Care, our vision wasn’t just to open another children’s home — it was to be part of the change. We wanted to create a place where young people feel safe, supported, and able to discover who they are. Too often, children in care don’t get the opportunities they deserve, and we are determined to change that.

For us, it’s about more than just providing care. It’s about building futures — making sure every child has the chance to thrive, to explore their interests, and to believe in themselves. We want them to leave us with not only good memories, but with the skills, confidence, and hope to build a positive future.

At Coastal Path Care, we believe that every child deserves to feel valued and heard. That’s why everything we do is driven by one simple question: what’s best for the child?

Dan Raynor

When Dan and I founded Coastal Path Care, our vision was to create something truly different — a home-like environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and part of a family. Having both worked in this field for many years, we understand how demanding the job can be, and how much it matters to feel appreciated and cared for.

From the beginning, we’ve focused on building a team that not only cares deeply for the young people we support, but also looks out for one another. We’ve made staff wellbeing a priority — through things like health insurance, bonuses, and recognising hard work with Employee of the Month — because we know how important it is to feel supported.

We’re proud of the culture that’s grown here at Coastal Path Care: a place where people want to work, develop their skills, and make a real difference. That sense of purpose and belonging is what drives us every day.
